Do not hesitate to seek help regarding your mental health if you are emotionally stressed or depressed as seeking help will provide early and effective treatment.

The Republic of Fiji Military Forces Regimental Medical Officer, Captain Merelesiana Ratuwake, highlighted this while speaking on the 2023 World Mental Health Day.

Captain Ratuwake says that mental health is important and at the end of the day, it affects your work, family and the people around you.

She says RFMF has a chaplain, psychologist and medical team ready to assist as they are not judgmental while the information is kept confidential.

She emphasised that you are the most important person in your life and therefore if you are happy then the people around you will also feel the positivity.
