Fijians who want to work under the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility scheme have been urged not to engage or give money to any individuals in relation to the scheme.

While speaking to 154 Fijian workers at the closing of the Pre-Departure Briefing, Minister for Employment Parveen Bala says that he was in Labasa last week and he was told that there are few individuals collecting money from people in the name of this program.

Bala says they have reported the matter to Police.

The Minister further says that only the Ministry of Employment is responsible for this program.
