The complaint lodged by the People’s Alliance Party General Secretary Sakiasi Ditoka against the FijiFirst General Secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has been handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department.

Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho says investigators are conducting their analysis before the next course of action is decided.

Ditoka says they want Sayed-Khaiyum to be investigated for allegedly inciting racial hatred and violence in view of his public statements at a press conference in Suva o Wednesday, in which he claimed some Indo-Fijian families in Ba were victims of violence on Tuesday, and linked these to what he termed as the "divisive nature" of PA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka.
