Digicel assures that their customers will not be paying the 10 cents per gigabyte levy

Digicel Fiji says their customers will not be paying the 10 cents per gigabyte data levy under the Telecommunications Amendment Bill passed in parliament.

Speaking at the Digicel Headquarters today Chief Executive Officer Mike Greig says they acknowledge the need for telecommunications services to be developed across Fiji at reasonable prices and companies like Digicel need to be present to pay taxes.

He says more customers are using Internet to communicate.
