Defending champion, Ba to face Labasa in the final of the Digicel Women’s IDC

Defending champion, Ba will face Labasa in the final of the Digicel Women’s IDC tomorrow.

Ba defeated Suva 4-2 in the second semi final at Lawaqa Park this afternoon.

Narieta Leba scored twice while Aliza Hussain and Luisa Tamanitoakula scored a goal each for Ba. Ledua Senisea scored twice for Suva.

In the first semi-final, Labasa beat Rewa 3-2.

Cema Nasau scored the opener in the opening minute of the match however Lara Bukalidi equalised in the 10th minute.

Tabua Liku extended Rewa's lead in the 55th minute but Veniana Naisaluwaki got the equaliser five minutes later.

Jotivini Tabua sealed the win from the penalty spot in the 85th minute.

The final will be played at 12pm tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium.
