Police have classified the death of a 52-year-old Pacific Harbour resident, Julie Alexander as a case of attempted suicide.
Alexander who was a director of a planned rugby academy in Fiji, was found at her Pacific Harbour home on Saturday.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says Alexander was taken to Navua hospital and then transferred to CWM Hospital.
She passed away yesterday.
Police are expected to forward the case file to a magistrate to conduct an inquest into Alexander’s death.
