Police have classified the death of a 29-year-old man in his Caubati home on 4th May as murder.
A post mortem exam was conducted and the case classified as murder.
They say when he arrived home the night before, he was complaining of body pains and had visible injuries.
Police say the victim’s partner woke up when she heard him struggling to breathe, and attempts made to revive him proved futile.
Investigations continue as they try to establish the circumstances surrounding the victim's death.
