De Grasse aims for second medal in men’s 200m final

100 metres bronze medalist Adre De Grasse is aiming to collect his second Tokyo Olympic medal in the 200 metres final after clocking the fastest time from the semi-final.

The Canadian sprinter clocked 19.73 seconds while favourites Noah Lyles of the USA settled for third in his semi-final and had to qualify through the best third-place times.

Other contenders include Aaron Brown of Canada and Erriyon Knighton, Kenneth Bednarek and Joseph Fahnbulleh of the US.

The final of the men's 200 metres is at 12.50am tomorrow.
