Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team coach Ben Gollings says Tevita Daugunu has been fantastic in the way he has led the young players during the local 7s tournaments.
Gollings says Daugunu has shown great leadership qualities and he will certainly be assisted by season campaigners and experienced players in the squad.
Daugunu will captain the team at the Singapore and Vancouver 7s.
The national team begins their Singapore 7s campaign against Ireland at 2.22pm this Saturday, we then play France at 5.06pm Saturday and our final pool match is against Japan at 8.22pm Saturday.
The cup quarterfinals start at 4.22 pm Sunday, the semifinals start at 8.13pm Sunday and the final will start at 11.28pm Sunday.
