Carpenters Fiji Managing Director, Daniel Whippy's bail variation case will be called again on Thursday.

Whippy is applying for a bail variation to travel to the United States for a non invasive stem cell treatment for his knee.

FICAC State counsel Sera Fatafehi is objecting to the variation, saying it can be treated in Fiji.

The defence counsel says there is no stem cell treatment in Fiji however Fatafehi says they have someone locally and will have an affidavit from that doctor this Thursday as they are currently out of Suva.

Magistrate Sufia Hamza has told the prosecution to produce the affidavit and serve it to the defence counsel.

She has told the lawyers that the bail variation is to be filed on Thursday.
