The Damodar Arts Village will soon come alive with cultural displays and traditional performances as it prepares to host a three-day showcase from the 1st to the 3rd of next month.

Damodar Arts Village Manager, Ratu Isoa Daunivavana, told fijivillage News that the event will feature a range of activities highlighting Fiji’s rich heritage, including traditional meke performances, fire walking and guided tours around the Arts Village.

Ratu Isoa says visitors will also have the chance to explore the educational botanical garden and enjoy a unique island tour experience by riding in a traditional Fijian boat.

He adds that, enhancing the experience, local artisans will display and sell their handmade crafts at the bure, offering visitors a glimpse into Fiji’s artistry and craftsmanship.

The Manager says the event aims to celebrate Fijian culture and provide both locals and tourists with an opportunity to learn more about the country’s traditions in a vibrant and interactive setting.
