Damaged Qalitu Primary School classroom repaired, work yet to begin on damaged kindergarten

Sixteen Year 3 students of Qalitu Primary School in Savusavu now have a safe classroom to study in after repairs have been completed by RFMF engineers.

The rooftop of their classroom was blown away during Cyclone Yasa.

Temporary repairs have also been done on the kindergarten by the school management.

School Manager, Iliesa Tabuyaqona says the four teachers quarters and students washrooms that were damaged have been repaired.

The school has a total of 182 students.
