With online shopping becoming one of the major places people are buying goods and services, DHL Express has recorded a 33% growth in shipments from June 2021 to June 2022.

This growth is largely contributed by e-commerce growth due to the impact of COVID-19 on the pace of digitalization and the purchasing power of consumers.

DHL Express New Zealand and Pacific Islands Managing Director Mark Foy says as the lockdown forced consumers online, businesses adapted their models and enhanced their digital presence to keep up with the demand.

He says the 33% surge in volume that DHL Express Fiji has experienced further highlights the growth in online shopping and demands for cross-border shipping.

DHL Express Fiji was certified as a Great Place To Work in 2021 and was re-certified, with a trust score of 97% this year.
