Curfew to remain for the foreseeable future – AG

Attorney General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says the curfew times will remain for the foreseeable future.

He says the Prime Minister has already made a statement on this and the curfew will remain until something changes as far as the COVID-19 restrictions are concerned.

A curfew has been in place in Fiji since 3rd April, 2020 but the curfew times have progressively changed since then.

On the 24th of April, the curfew times were changed from 10pm to 5am and since 21st June, 2020, the curfew has been maintained from 11pm to 4am.
