Residents in Cunningham are frustrated as their concerns are falling on deaf ears as the hole at the Republic of Fiji Military Forces bridge are getting wider, posing a serious threat to commuters and vehicles.
Residents have voiced their frustrations, saying people use the footpaths along Cunningham during the day and night and are worried about their safety as people can fall into the hole.
fijivillage News has been following up with the Fiji Roads Authority, and they have confirmed this morning that they are aware of the situation and will deploy people on the ground to fix the damages.
When questioned this morning on when the works will begin on the ground, FRA says they will confirm once they finalize everything.
The hole at the bridge has been there for months, and nothing has been done to fix it.
