Crusaders unlikely to rush back Ennor despite Goodhue injury

Crusaders unlikely to rush back Ennor despite Goodhue injury
Crusaders midfielder Braydon Ennor has been training with the team and is nearing a return to action.

Crusaders centre Braydon Ennor is unlikely to be rushed back into the side despite fellow midfielder Jack Goodhue ruled out for the season with a serious knee injury.

All Black Ennor ruptured his ACL playing in the North vs South match and has long been scheduled to return for the Trans-Tasman competition which kicks off the week after the Super Rugby Aotearoa final on May 8th.

Head coach Scott Robertson says they are targeting him for that match against the Brumbies and not before that.

The Crusaders play the Chiefs at 7.05 tonight in the Super Rugby Aotearoa.

Last night, the Highlanders beat the Blues 35-29.
