The Crusaders are one win away from their first-ever Super Rugby Aotearoa title.

The Crusaders continue to lead the points table with 24 points, followed by the Blues with 22 points, the Hurricanes are in third place with 16 points, the Highlanders are in fourth place with 10 points while the winless Chiefs are in fifth place with 5 points. All the Chiefs points have come from bonus points where they recorded losses within 7 points.

A Crusaders' victory over the Highlanders in Christchurch this week will guarantee the reigning champions their fourth straight Super Rugby title.

Looking at the weekend’s results, the Crusaders defeated the Chiefs 32-19 and the Blues thumped the Highlanders 32-21.

The Chiefs will take on the Hurricanes at 7.05pm Saturday while the Crusaders will face the Highlanders at 3.35pm Sunday.
