Crusaders number 8 Cullen Grace scored twice as they beat the Chiefs 20-7 to book their spot for the Super Rugby Pacific final next week.

Richie Moโ€™unga had put the Crusaders ahead 6-0 with two early penalties and went on to convert both their tries.

In a game riddled with errors for the Chiefs, Fijian born Pita Gus Sowakula saw their first try go begging when he failed to ground the ball in the 12th minute.

The Chiefs battled to finish but were constantly stopped by the Crusaders defence.

Crusaders flanker Pablo Matera was red carded in the game after receiving two yellow cards.

The Crusaders will meet the winner of the second semi-final that will be at 7.05pm tonight between the Blues and Brumbies.
