Crime officers in Labasa are continuing to gather information on the alleged murder of a Year 9 student at her home in Namara, Labasa on Wednesday night.
Police confirm there have been no significant developments in the case so far.
There have been no arrests made as well.
The girl's landlord has given a statement to Police.
Police say people heard the girl scream for help on Wednesday night and upon checking on her, the landlord discovered her lying near the front door with visible stab wounds.
The girl was home alone as her mother was yet to return from work.
