The Fijian Elections Office has announced the appointment of Craig Rickards as the Deputy Supervisor for the 2022 general elections.
Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem says Rickards brings a wealth of election experience having worked with the Australian Electoral Commission for the last 38 years and retired last year.
Saneem says Rickards worked as Technical Advisor in the area of Logistics in 2014 and an advisor to the Divisional Managers in 2018 elections.
He says Rickards is very familiar with the Fijian electoral system and the processes and they look forward to his contribution to the elections this year.
Rickards has also worked in Tonga, Myanmar and other countries.
