The increasing cost of living and higher firework prices is hanging over the heads of struggling Fijians this Diwali.

Nausori resident, Avneel Singh says the increased cost of fireworks is a concern for him.

He says the cost of living and the struggles of 2022 have left him feeling less excited this Diwali compared to previous years.

Despite his concerns, Singh hopes everyone has a happy Diwali and that everyone can light the path of others and become lights for themselves.
