Coral Coast 7s: Semi Kunatani thrilled to be chosen by Gregan

McDonald's Ambassador All Stars team member Semi Kunatani who was nominated by George Gregan says he is overwhelmed and thrilled that the Wallabies legend chose him.

Kunatani says it has been a while since he last competed at the Coral Coast 7s where he first burst onto the local 7s scene for Yamacia back in 2013, before being called up into the national 7s side.

The Olympian says he is expecting a tough competition this year with a lot of upcoming talented young players, and is also looking forward to enjoying rugby with his new team mates.

He says he is looking forward to competing with and against the best at this years Coral Coast 7s.

16 men’s teams have been confirmed with defending champions Army returning alongside newcomers Devos Babas, New Zealand Development, BDK Yalovata, USA Falcons, Fiji Babaas, Ba Originals, Dominion Brothers, Tabadamu, Ravuka, Fire and Saunaka.

The McDonald's Fiji Coral Coast 7s will be held from the 18th to the 20th of January 2024 at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.
