Uruguay has finished Copa America competition in third place after beating Canada 4-3 in a penalty shootout.

Both team were tied 2-all at the end of full time.

Rodrigo Bentancur and Luis Suárez had scored a goal each for Uruguay while Ismaël Koné and Jonathen David had scored for Canada.

In the penalty shootout, Jonathan David connected on Canada's first kick, while Federico Valverde connected on Uruguay's first kick.

Moise Bombito then made Canada's second kick, while Rodrigo Betancur made Uruguay's second kick.

Then, Ismael Kone hesitated on Canada's third kick and was denied by Sergio Rochet, while Giorgian De Arrascaeta made Uruguay's third kick.

Mathieu Choiniere connected on Canada's fourth kick, while Luis Suarez hammered home Uruguay's fourth kick.

Then, Alphonso Davies' missed Canada's fifth shot, ending the game.

In the final tomorrow, Argentina takes on Colombia at midday.
