The contract of the Chief Executive Officer of Water Authority of Fiji, Opetaia Ravai has been discontinued.
This has been confirmed to Fijivillage by Water Authority Board Chairman P.L Munasinghe.
When questioned on why Ravai’s contract has been discontinued, Munasinghe said that they have some major water projects in the new year and they would like a CEO with vast engineering and technical background.
The board will release a statement later today.
