The Attorney General and Minister for Economy, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says they will be looking at construction options to get the Degei House dormitory at Ratu Kadavulevu School rebuilt once they receive clearance from the National Fire Authority.
A fire destroyed the double-story dormitory last night.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined with the National Fire Authority now carrying out investigations.
Sayed-Khaiyum made a short visit to Ratu Kadavulevu School this morning while on his way to officiate at the Queen Victoria School prize-giving ceremony.
He met with the RKS Principal and students.
Sayed-Khaiyum says it was good to see the students' spirits were still high despite this ordeal.
The students have lost most of their belongings.
