With the Japan 7s tournament about to kick off, fans around the country have been asking the question whether the Digicel Fiji 7s team can maintain their consistency.
Coach Alifereti Dere said his aware of what happened last year when they won the Hong Kong 7s and later lost out in the quarterfinal of the Japan 7s tournament.
With the suspension of Ilai Tinai, other players face a mammoth task of stepping up to the challenge as Tinai was very instrumental in last weekend’s victory in Happy Valley.
Fiji will play all its three pool matches of the Japan 7s today.
First up is South Africa at 1.44pm before meeting Spain at 5.51pm and Portugal at 9.19pm.
The Cup quarters start at 1.28pm tomorrow, Cup semis at 5.08pm and the Cup final is at 7.33pm.
