Concerns raised that some people are not wearing their masks in the right way in Navua
Navua Town.

There are concerns raised by some residents of Navua about some people who do not know the correct way of wearing face masks.

They say these people are wearing the mask as mouth guards and not covering their noses as well.

In Navua today, there is a long line of people outside Max Value Supermarket with a few who are not wearing their masks in the right way.

Some people who are also seen walking around town are also wearing their masks like mouth guards.

Other supermarkets and dairy shops are operating as normal.

Police say they are monitoring people who are out, but they cannot be everywhere.

They say maintaining social distancing and proper wearing of mask should also be the responsibility of each and every individual.
