A driver has raised serious concern on social media after he nearly ran over a man who was allegedly intoxicated and sleeping in the middle of the road in Wainibokasi, Nausori at around mid-night last night.
He has also put up a video of the incident.
The man says he contacted Police and a group of officers were deployed to the scene and helped remove the intoxicated man.
Meanwhile, Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho has already stressed the need for people to enjoy themselves responsibly during this festive season.
