Concerns raised by residents in Caubati that buses do not stop for passengers

Concerns have been raised by residents in Caubati that buses do not stop for passengers even if it can be clearly seen that there are seats available.

A 39-year-old woman who resides along Wainivula Road, Caubati has confirmed that on more than one occasion, the bus that services the Wanivula route at 7.30am would not stop for passengers even if there are seats available.

When questioned on why this is happening, Dee Cees Buses Services Director Reginald Mohan said that they will speak to the driver.

Dee Cees also confirms that all their bus drivers are fully versed with the use of the E-ticketing machines to allow passengers on board and have been instructed to also take on passengers if there is any fault in the machine.
