As the Vodafone Fiji Bati gets ready for their second Rugby League World Cup match against Italy, Fiji National Rugby League Chairman, Viliame Naupoto says the senior Bati players and their coaches are motivated to play for Head Coach Joe Rabele who is still admitted in the hospital in the United Kingdom.

Rabele was replaced by interim coach Wise Kativerata shortly after their arrival before the tournament began last week.

Naupoto says they have kept their focus and are aiming to reach their fourth successive semi final this year.

He is calling for prayers and support towards the Bati and coach Rabele.

The Bati will take on Italy at 1.30am Sunday.
