Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Coach John McKee has been impressed with the level of commitment by the players in their first week in camp preparing for their test match against the Maori All Blacks.

Today the team’s commitment, fitness, endurance and team bonding was tested when they went through an explosive session at the Sand Dunes in Sigatoka.

Veteran lock Leone Nakarawa says before the training session they were told by the trainer that he doesn’t care what your name is and where you come from because training at the sand dunes will test your character.

The Flying Fijians break camp today and will gather again on Sunday in Suva.

Fiji plays the Maori All Blacks at 3pm next Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
