Closing submissions in former FijiFirst MP, Vijendra Prakash’s trial will take place on Wednesday.
Prakash is charged with giving false information to a public servant and obtaining financial advantage
Prakash is alleged to have falsely stated that his permanent place of residence was in Waidracia, Vunidawa, Nabuni, Naluwai, Naitasiri and allegedly obtained $33,670.00 between August 2019 and March 2020.
This comes after FICAC lawyer, Ashish Nand informed the court that trial transcripts are not ready.
He says the transcripts will be ready by Monday which will give enough time to the lawyers to prepare their closing submissions.
