The 7th Red Cross Pacific leaders meeting supported by the International Federation of Red Cross today welcomed the delegates from the 14 red cross societies across the pacific region to discuss common issues among these societies, and decide on ways to work together in the interest of vulnerable people in the Region.

This Meeting will reflect ways in which National Societies have begun to implement the IFRC Strategy 2030 and Agenda for Renewal in the Region, the lessons learned from responses to the Pandemic, and how it can set collective ambitions to tackle challenges including the climate crisis, poor health outcomes and pervasive social issues such as inequality and Gender-Based Violence.

The meeting is brought together with the Red Cross leaders including governance leaders, management leaders, and youth leaders building strong and financially sustainable Red Cross national societies which can better serve the pacific communities.
