Cirikidaveta hopes Drua will give a good performance to the crowd and families in Fiji

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua number eight, Te Ahiwaru Cirikidaveta says he knows some of the players in the Highlanders team like Andrew Makalio and Max Hicks as they played together for Tasman.

Cirikidaveta says he is hoping the Drua can give a good performance to the crowd and their families.

The 24-year-old was brought up on the East Coast of Brisbane.

Cirikidaveta who is originally from Naitasiri also met his father for the first time earlier this week.

Cirikidaveta says he is grateful to be playing against some of the best players in the world.

The Fijian Drua face the Highlanders at 4.35pm today at the ANZ Stadium.

Meanwhile, Suva will face Namosi at 1.40pm in the Marama Championship in the curtain raiser match.
