Church Minister of Eleventh Hour Ministry fronts court for allegedly posting malicious videos

The Church Minister of Eleventh Hour Ministry in Lautoka, Tuiloma Tutani Tawaivuna appeared before Chief Magistrate, Usaia Ratuvili this afternoon charged with six counts of Malicious Acts.

It is alleged Tawaivuna posted a series of short videos on Facebook calling on people not to get vaccinated as he alleged the vaccine is evil which created public alarm and anxiety.

The alleged incidents occurred between 10th February and 18th June this year.

Police Prosecutor, Inspector Joshua Shaw made an application for the deactivation of Tawaivuna’s Facebook page which was granted by the court.

Tawaivuna has been released on bail and ordered to reside at his home in Field 40, Lautoka.

The matter has been adjourned to the 27th of next month.
