Chinese delegation to strengthen Fiji’s agriculture sector, climate change and tourism through developments

Chinese Ambassador to Fiji, Qian Bo says the Chinese delegation will now engage with Fiji in strengthening the sectors of agriculture, climate change, fisheries and tourism through more developments and changes.

Bo highlighted this during the introduction of the 20th National Congress of Communists of China.

He says the Chinese delegation will also establish 6 centres for future cooperation with Fiji and in the Pacific to eradicate poverty and climate change by providing emergency supplies in helping and supporting the population to improve their living standards.

The Chinese Ambassador says to support the developments, there will be an agriculture delegation coming to Fiji from the China province of Jiangsu to explore areas of cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture.

He further says the Chinese contribution will bring more Chinese to the country to improve the tourism sector and boost the economy in improving the Sustainable Development Goals.
