China's Minister for Foreign Affairs arrives in Fiji

The State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi has arrived in Fiji for an official visit until Tuesday.

This is Wang’s second visit to Fiji as the first was in 2018.

The Fijian Government says during his visit, Wang will pay a courtesy call on the President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere and meet with Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.

The Prime Minister will also join Wang for the 2nd China-Pacific Island Countries Foreign Ministers’ meeting.
