China committed to provide chinese vaccines to Fiji after WHO certification
China’s Ambassador to Fiji Qian Bo

China’s Ambassador to Fiji Qian Bo says the COVID-19 vaccines developed in China are in the final stages of certification by the World Health Organisation.

He says when this happens, he is sure the vaccines will be arriving in Fiji very soon.

Bo says China’s President Xi Jinping has already declared to the world that as a major developing country, China is committed to make the chinese vaccines an international public good.

He says in China they have more than two vaccines.

Two vaccines developed in China are Sinovac and Sinopharm.

Bo says they will provide the vaccines through the COVAX facility and also through bilateral partnerships.
