Children take part in Palm Sunday service

Children and Christians around Fiji and the world are celebrating Palm Sunday today.

Palm Sunday marks the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and being greeted by the people waving palm branches.

Centenary Church Pastor, Meciusela Tuicakau says the role of parents is to teach their children about the importance of knowing God.

He says today's service is dedicated to all the children in the Methodist Church of Fiji and Rotuma, whereby children participate in church services and also prepare for the Easter Service.

He adds there are more than 80 children in the Centenary Church, and all of them will participate in today’s church service.
