Children demand for action on Ocean Cleanliness during Veivueti Kids Conference

One of the major concerns raised by students who attended the Veivueti Kids Conference at International School Suva is how to keep our ocean clean and our ecosystem happy.

While speaking at the event, the students of Champs International School highlighted that one of the major issues in Fiji today is the habit of dumping rubbish carelessly and negligence in caring for our environment.

International School Suva Ocean Coordinator, Hannah Nanovu says this conference opens the space for children ranging from 9 to 14 years old to express and share their knowledge and thoughts on how to keep our ocean clean.

Nanovu says this is the first Oceans Conference and they are planning to conduct more to help and instill the knowledge of keeping our environment clean to the young generation.
