An 18-month-old child died after falling off the balcony of her home on Thursday.
Police say the incident happened in Nadi when the deceased fell from the balcony of their house at a height of about 4.47 meters.
The child became unconscious and was conveyed to the Nadi hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
A post mortem is expected to be conducted soon.
Investigations continue.
