Chiefs v Rebels match moved to Sydney

The Chiefs' final home match of 2021 against the Melbourne Rebels on Sunday has been moved from Hamilton to Sydney because of the extension of Melbourne’s COVID-19 lockdown.

New Zealand Rugby, Sanzaar and the Chiefs released a statement confirming the move for the Super Rugby Trans-Tasman fixture.

Instead of hosting the Rebels, the match will now be played in Sydney at 5pm.

This week, the Crusaders will take on the Western Force at 7.05pm tomorrow, the Reds will face the Blues at 9.45pm tomorrow, the Highlanders will play the Waratahs at 7.05pm Saturday while the Brumbies will meet the Hurricanes at 9.45pm Saturday.
