The Chiefs will be hoping to avoid equaling an unwanted record as they face the daunting task of going up against the Crusaders in the Super Rugby Aotearoa this week.

The Chiefs have lost their previous 10 matches and are one loss away from equaling the record set by the Highlanders in 2013 when they lost 11 matches in a row.

The last time the Chiefs won a match in Super Rugby was almost a year ago when they beat the Waratahs.

To make matters worse they will be taking on a Crusaders side that has won the last four Super Rugby titles and unbeaten in their opening two matches.

The Chiefs will take on the Crusaders at 6.05pm Saturday while the Blues will face the Highlanders at 2.35pm Sunday.
