Chiefs and All Blacks loose forward Luke Jacobson has been ruled out for the remainder of the Super Rugby Aotearoa season after sustaining a fracture in his wrist against the Blues on Saturday.
The rehabilitation period is approximately five to six weeks, leading to Jacobson's unavailability for the remainder of the season.
He was ruled out of the Rugby World Cup in Japan a week before the All Blacks' first game of the tournament against the Springboks, after suffering a delayed onset of concussion.
The Chiefs will play the Crusaders at 3.35 pm this Sunday while the Highlanders will take on the Blues at 7.05 pm Saturday.
