The Chiefs are hoping for another big home crowd when they face the Hurricanes in Hamilton tonight, as they push for a spot in the finals.

The interest for side rocketed last Saturday with nearly 20,000 fans on the grandstand.

Another big turnout tonight is crucial for the Chiefs, after facing financial difficulties at the start of the season.

Coach Clayton McMillan has made six changes to his match day squad with Luke Jacobson sidelined due to concussion and will be replaced by Pita Gus Sowakula.

Bryn Gatland will start at first five while Damien McKenzie returning to fullback.

The Chiefs will take on the Hurricanes at 7.05 tonight and the Crusaders will face the Blues at 3.35pm Sunday.
