Change in dates for Year 8, 12 and 13 exams

The Year 8 external exams will begin on Friday 9th December and end on Tuesday 13th December instead of being held from the 13th to the 15th of December.

Year 12 exams will now start on Thursday 1st December and end on Tuesday 13th December.

Year 13 exams that was initially scheduled to start on Tuesday 29th November and end on Friday 9th December will now start on Monday 28th November and end on Thursday 8th December.

While confirming this, Minister for Education, Premila Kumar says these changes are due to the national general elections on 14th December.

Kumar says the 2022 academic year will also end on 13th December.
