Chand wins Vodafone Festival King title, promises to continue advocating for youth engagements

I will continue to advocate for youth engagement as I want youths to prosper and achieve better things in their lives with the support from their families and friends. Valuefone Pte Limited sponsored King contestant Roshneel Ritnesh Chand highlighted this after he was crowned King in the Vodafone Festival of the Friendly North last night at Subrail Park in Labasa.

Chand says he decided to participate in the contest after he was encouraged by his friends and his parents supported the decision.

He says he was interested in modelling and utilised the opportunity when given a chance, it is also the first time he has participated in such a huge competition in the North.

Chand is a final year law student at the University of the South Pacific and understands the crucial role friends and families play in shaping the future of their loved ones.

Meanwhile, Jacob Saqusaqu who represented Tanoa Electrical Works was the runner-up while Vilimone Mualevu who represented the Service Clubs of Labasa Lions Club, Rotary Club and Northern Charity Alliance won the Mr Personality title.
