Two men charged with the murder of Apolosi Savou at Rampurwar Road in Narere on the 29th of January last year, are free today as the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has withdrawn the case.
A nolle prosequi was filed in the case for John Terry Yamei and Eroni Matakiviwa.
The Office of the DPP confirms that charges against both the accused persons have been discontinued at this stage due to insufficient evidence, however, the file is being sent to police for further investigations.
Yamei was represented by KS Law while Matakiviwa was represented by the Legal Aid Commission.
