A 48-year-old carpenter of Nausori is dead after he allegedly took his own life following an incident where he is alleged to have seriously injured his wife.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says it is alleged that the deceased seriously injured his 43-year-old wife during an argument at their home in Nausori.
Both were rushed to the Nausori Health centre whereby the victim was then referred to the CWM Hospital.
The victim is admitted in the hospital however the suspect died before midday today.
A post mortem will be conducted to ascertain the suspect’s death.
