CareFiji app and vaccination cards will be non-negotiable for entry into ground venues - Patel
FFA President, Rajesh Patel.

The Fiji Football Association says CareFiji app and vaccination cards will be non-negotiable for entry into ground venues when the Digicel Premier League resumes next Sunday.

President, Rajesh Patel says Vax-check tool will also be used at the gates where the vaccination cards will be verified and only fully vaccinated players, officials and fans will be allowed.

He says if someone does not have a smartphone, they must carry a valid photo ID which will be checked at the gates.

Patel says stadiums will be at 70% capacity and social distancing has to be followed at all times.

He says everyone needs to be fully compliant and if there will be a breach of any protocols by the teams or fans, the team in concern will lose the rights of hosting matches.

In the matches next Sunday, Unique Rubber Stamp Suva will host Online I.T Solutions Ba at ANZ Stadium, Rewa will travel to Prince Charles Park to face Esy Kool Nadi while Navua will battle Moshin’s Insulation Nadroga FC.

All matches will kickoff at 3pm.
